Vale Eficiência II vouchers: is it open, who can apply?
Closed to new beneficiaries: Vale Eficiência II stopped taking beneficiary applications at 17:59 on 31 October 2024. It is for low-income households that own, rent or hold usufruct of the home where they live.

- Who qualifies
- Individuals who get the electricity social tariff (TSEE), or live in a household where someone gets a minimum social benefit such as the solidarity supplement for the elderly, the social insertion income or the social old-age pension; and who live permanently in the home as owner, usufructuary or tenant
- Value
- Up to three vouchers of 1,300 euros each
- Budget
- 130 million euros for the programme, 104 million euros for this second phase

- 30 October 2026: eligible beneficiaries still waiting for a technical facilitator were emailed; they can register interest in a simplified route on the platform from 23 November
