Who can apply

Residents who have lived in the Funchal municipality permanently for at least one year, with monthly rent up to 1,100 euros and proven economic difficulty

Amount

120, 145 or 225 euros a month depending on household income, plus 25 euros for some situations such as single-parent households, young tenants or large families

Nature

Temporary support; regulation revised and effective from 18 July 2026
