Porta 65+ pays a monthly rent subsidy to tenant households whose income fell by more than 20% or that are single-parent, at any age. The portal page shows no application dates.

Who can apply

Households with an income drop above 20% compared with the previous three months or the same period last year, and single-parent households

Conditions

Permanent residence in the rented home; rental contract registered with the tax authority; no member owns or rents another home for housing; no kinship with the landlord

Income

Household income no more than four times the maximum rent allowed, and at or below the top of the sixth bracket of the personal income tax scale (art. 68(1) CIRS)
